The end does not justify the means and demands a profound transformation of values and criteria. No-one has the right to do wrong to others to achieve their objectives.
Obviously, we cannot like it. War is terrorism on a large scale. The advent of aircraft, the bombing of cities and the weapons of mass destruction are the most striking examples.
